Loggers Leave Your Temperature Rising?

Loggers Leave Your Temperature Rising? Certain data loggers are designed to operate in extreme environments. Yet one group of engineers discovered that identical units were erratic at different temperature ranges. Problem? The signal processing chips in the units were custom built, and had both positive- and negative-temperature-coefficient components. The lesson? Reliability in extreme environment loggers is only as good as the temperature sensitive components within.
